1-3-5

We will continue to view the story of the making of "Citizen Kane". We will also have a short lesson on making B roll decisions when editing your feature. Please read the Shooting Checklist Feature Interview hand-out.

TV Production Class Rules

1. You have an assigned seat. This is where you need to be when the bell rings and 5 minutes before the end of the period.

2. The "Do Now" begins when the bell rings. As soon as you sit down you should take out your notebook and pen and begin working on the assignment which is projected on the wall.

3. Never interrupt, get up and walk around the room, or call out when anyone is speaking in front of the class. I never want to hear, "I was just... " It is rude and unprofessional.

4. You may never put on lotion, perfume, nail polish or perform any other cosmetic "make-over" during my class period. If your character requires make-up it will be done in the proper setting.

5. You may not spit or suck your thumb in my class. This is not appropriate behavior nor proper etiquette in a classroom or business setting.

6. You get 3 five minute (bathroom) hall passes per nine weeks. If you must go out, bring your TV Class Card to me and I will sign it. Return it to the card box when you come back. The door by me is used for the restroom. You may not use the TV studio door unless I approve it.

7. Never go into the TV Studio area unless you have an assignment that requires you to be there.

8. All equipment must be signed out in the studio book.

9. All equipment must be turned in 10 minutes before the end of the period.

10. If equipment gets damaged or stops working please see Mrs. Miller or Scott Meyer ASAP. We can't help you if we don't know about it. If the damage was cause by rough use or irresponsible behavior then you will receive an obligation form to cover the repair.

11. You are expected to conduct yourself like ladies and gentlemen at all times. I encourage creativity, not foolishness. There is a huge difference.

12. In this class proper conduct is reflected in your grade.
